Our Requirements:

“All About Dogs” Pet Grooming is licensed by the Iowa Department of Agriculture, as required by state law. All pets must have vaccinations current, which is also required by state law. Vaccinations are required for Rabies and Distemper for those pets being groomed and boarded. Bordetella or kennel cough immunization is also required for those being kenneled.

Your groomer





Jill Brunner is the owner, operator and groomer/stylist at “All About Dogs”. She has been a licensed, certified Master Groomer since 1986 and specializes in small breeds but can handle all breeds with creative clips and tender loving care.


Jill’s formal training took place at the New York School of Dog Grooming in 1986, where she learned every kind of haircut for every kind of breed. Since then Jill’s vast experience includes nearly 30 years in the grooming business, the last 13 years at “All About Dogs” Paw Spa after opening her business in 2002. Prior to that Jill groomed at Petco in West Des Moines and was the Head Grooming Manager at Pet Smart in West Des Moines. Jill also owned and operated “Pause 4 Paws” pet salon and boutique in Mason City, Iowa.


During that time Jill has seen it all and done it all having groomed thousands of dogs and hundreds of different breeds and mixes.



Jill also has taught and lectured to dog grooming students and matched her skills in grooming competitions But experience and training only begin to tell the story of Jill and “All About Dogs”.


What is just as important is the love of dogs that Jill has as each pet that walks through her door becomes like an extended family member!
